Introduction
As a result of a simple twist of fate, I met Mark Lenard in March of 1987. So began our personal friendship that lasted until his death in 1996.
In August of that first year we met, at Mark's request, I traveled to Washington, D.C. for a fan-run convention called IsisCon were I worked as a volunteer staff member and assisted Mark over the course of the weekend event.
Most of the members of this discussion group have never had the opportunity to attend a convention. And I believe that only 4 of us ever met Mark Lenard in person.
